My areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and bipolar disorders. I enjoy caring for clients from all walks of life, and I especially feel passionate about working with POC, LGBTQ, people with chronic diseases, and young adults entering the
work force. I also feel strongly about working with people of immigrant backgrounds who are experiencing immigration and/or generational trauma.
In session, I draw on my extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Psychodynamic theories. My style incorporates these therapeutic modalities into a relational approach that is focused on building an alliance with the client to listen and provide empowerment and mental health support. I work with clients to help them identify their goals and values in life, and then uncover the barriers and obstacles facing them. Together, I work with my clients to develop coping mechanisms and actionable strategies to overcome obstacles and stressors and achieve a life that aligns with their authentic values and goals.
